Ms. Yoder's Resource Room
Meet the Teacher
Hello Audubon families! It was nice to meet you all at Back to School Night. I am looking forward to working with your sweet kids this year. I wanted to share a little bit about myself as well as what's going on in the resource room!
I was born and raised in the Cochella Valley, living mostly in Palm Desert. I went to a school called Westmont College in Santa Barbara and moved up to the Bay Area right after graduating. I studied Kinesiology and wanted to pursue Occupational Therapy for awhile, but stumbled into behavior intervention and various classroom settings that had me working with students. I fell in love with it and decided to go back to school to pursue a Masters in Special Education with a Mild/Moderate Credential at USF. I am currently finishing my last year in the program and know that I'm right where I am supposed to be. I worked at a charter school in San Jose last year, but moved further north to be closer to USF. Audubon was the perfect fit. Your kids already have a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us all!
This web page will provide you with information of what we are doing in the resource room, as well as provide resources for you to use with your kiddos at home. I will keep it up to date weekly. If you have any questions, please email me!
